Features Francesco Alessi
Giuseppe Alessi was born in Valledolmo, in the province of Palermo, in 1932.
He died in Monserrato (CA) in 2019.
After a career of over thirty years as an opera tenor, he had resumed the ancient passion of his youth, poetry, considerably expanding - mainly between 1994 and 1998 - his poetic production.
His son Francesco (Palermo, 1971) oversaw the drafting and commentary of the poems.
Furthermore, in 2022 he participated in the "Città di Castello" literary prize, obtaining recognition for his essay, "That air bridge in Berlin", fifth place in the "non-fiction" section.
